A digital archive to showcase work, exhibitions and conversations

With a career spanning over two-decades Jitish Kallat is one of India’s most respected contemporary artists. In order to showcase his vast body of work he needed a website that would be be accessible and easy to maintain.

We created an effective digital solution that presents his work with clarity and consistency across device platforms. The design combines a clean layout approach with a textured type palette that hints at the tactile nature of his varied choice of materials. The architecture of individual artwork pages allow for a nuanced viewing of each work, while pages of text open and close to provide selective information.
