Bhavnagar Heritage

The port of Bhavnagar has a rich history dating back more than two hundred years. Led by enlightened rulers before Independence, and by committed citizens in recent decades, the city has grown exponentially in the 21st century. Prominent citizens have come together to promote its heritage to a younger generation, as well as to travellers who use the city as a point of transit to other nearby destinations.

We created the Bhavnagar Heritage brand to unify activities to conserve, preserve and popularise the city’s natural, architectural, maritime and industrial heritage. In addition to an inaugural publication, we devised a complete identity system to be used by the Bhavnagar Heritage Preservation Society in future projects across the region.
