Building a brand for Mumbai's largest free photography festival

Envisioned as a democratic platform to explore the practice and history of photography, the Focus festival has grown into an engaging programme that draws together photographers and enthusiasts from around the world.

The third edition of the festival in 2017 called for a structured extension of brand elements into print, digital and spatial formats. With multiple partners, venues and collaborators, each communication touch point needed to be consistent and clear.

Building on the existing logo, we developed a graphic system that allowed for greater flexibility in the exhibition and graphic materials, while remaining true to the original brand.
